Dr. Li is President of Demographic Research Company and a leading expert on predictive modeling, data mining, and database marketing. Dr. Li has over 20 years of experience in the direct marketing industry and has consulted numerous companies on issues regarding predictive modeling, database marketing, and market research. Before joining DRC in 1989, Dr. Li managed marketing database at Transamerica Financial Corporation. Subsequently, Dr. Li helped establish TRW Credit Data’s Risk Modeling and Credit Management Services. Dr. Li received his B.A. degree from the University of Hawaii and Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Seattle. He has held faculty positions at several major universities, including the University of Wisconsin, Madison and the University of Denver. He has published articles on modeling and database marketing in professional and trade journals and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
